U.S. News & World Report: Best Nursing Homes 2014

gold-star2

Countryside Nursing Home was given a 5 Star Overall Rating from U.S. News and World Report on Best Nursing Homes. That’s the highest rating possible.

Corinnne and Bob Steacie started running Countryside Nursing Home in 1962. Today, Countryside remains family owned and operated by their son, John.

From the beginning, we had a simple mission; we would provide women with a safe, comfortable and loving place to spend their golden years. Our intimate setting combines the comforts of home and the care of professionals who provide the human warmth and family affection that can only be found in a small nursing home. We offer personal, loving care and attention by a professional staff that meets the medical, physical, spiritual and individual needs of each resident.

Several of our employees have been at Countryside for over 20 years, and have played an intricate role in our success.

“I really like the fact that Countryside is small and family owned. It feels like a home, not an institution. I also like that it’s all female. My Mom feels safe there. The staff is very responsive and they give my Mom lots of personal attention and affection. I can rest easy knowing my Mom is getting great care.”
